We're not quite sure what the weather holds for us between now and opening day at the Dallas Farmers Market, but one thing for certain is that there has been some early planting going on in this warmer weather. Early planting spells earlier crops for spring veggies, and we have high hopes for plenty of selection when opening day come on April 30th! Keep your fingers crossed!

In the mean time our Winter market continues to roll on Saturdays 9AM to noon in the parking lot of the Highlands College (Old courthouse annex across from the Regions Bank) in downtown Dallas. Please come by and have a look!

Don't forget to take a look at our new Featured Vendor page in the Navigation Bar to the left. There you'll find information about Dana Girard and her husband Mike of by Dana. Look there for the exclusive special you'll receive as a reader of this website!

Easter is coming up soon and Heather at Evelyn Rose is making gift baskets of her homemade soaps and balms. There are still plenty of preserves, salsas, pestos, breads, flavored crackers, and cakes to choose from. Also fresh Eggs and some late winter veggies are still around like collards, cabbage, green onions, and beets.

   Come out and see us!

One last thing! Our friend produce vendor, Alan Morgan, has made a video about okra that you garden enthusiasts and fellow farmers might enjoy! Click the link below!
